Similar to what Constant Contact offers-- If constituent clicks "unsubscribe/opt-out" on an email from our organization, it should lead them to a new window with a message "We are sorry to see you go... and explain that they will be removed from all mailing lists, with an optional feature asking "Why?" Also, a button to re-instate their email in case they made a mistake and they'd like to stay in touch.  Currently, I have to download the opt-outs and plug them into an personal email asking them individually why they chose to leave and if that it what they meant to do. THEN, if the constituent wants to stay on they must do it themselves by re-subscribing on our webpage.  It is my understanding that I can't go into RE and activate their email - they have to initiate it.  The burden is on the donor/constituent.
