The availability of fields, and the way the fields which are available are presented, varies randomly across different modules and within different types of export. For example, one can Import but not Global Change solicit codes. Why? One can drill down into related tables much further in some Export types than others — for example, much more Solicitor information is available from a Constituent export than from a Gift export. Why? The needs of constructing an export for a particular purpose (i.e., choosing a type) often ends up making it impossible to pull the information one needs.
