to repeat myself - consistency is #1 in creating & maintaining a good database. Should be the same for developers as users. Make RE consistent throughout!

Consecutive Years Giving is another summary information field that is available in query, but not in export.

By the way, right now it calculates incorrectly in query and there is a request in for programming to review it.

Totally agree with Same Summary Fields in Export as Query. We must use a query when we print giving statements because Receipt Amount is the only field that contains the Charitable giving amount.

In query I can chose specifically what prospect rating I want but can not do that in export and have to spend a lot of time cleaning up the export to get the rating I actually want.

This is a problem that I encounter and often drives me nuts. You can find specific info in a query, but then cannot access it when exporting. So I endorse the "Consistency throughout" idea. Particularly when trying to use "this fiscal year", it is available in one area, but not the other...

I'd also like to request consistency throughout. It would help if the same fields were available in Export as in Query (for example, Gift Instalments Starting On doesn't seem to be exportable). Also the same names should be used across the system. I registered today to suggest this so I'm glad to see this is already here and popular!

I'm about to check whether my other suggestions are already here, namely being able to view the field header names - e.g. CnBio_ID - within Query/Export/Import - perhaps by right-clicking? Also being able to see some actual data for any given field - again maybe by right-clicking? It would be helpful to quickly be able to check whether output is as expected.

Anonymous - this suggestion is in relation to summary fields, which are a specific set of fields in export which summarize information. If you want this field added to export, you may want to add it to another suggestion or create a new suggestion if an appropriate one does not exist.

"Total Given" is an option under summary information in a fund query, but not a fund export.

Anonymous - this suggestion is limited to summary fields - not all fields in Export. You may want to add your votes and comments to another suggestion, or create one if one does not exist. I would hate for your request to go undone because BB corrects the summary fields only.

Jenn, Kevin DeCloux mentioned in the comments "Same Summary Fields in Export as Query". I think most would prefer that everything that can be output in query, also be available for output in Export. The summary fields allow us to aggregate data, and without which, adding in a column to (for example) state the total value of someone's gifts involves either pivottables, or Access aggregation, or exporting an additional query. It's tedious and time-consuming.
