We often use many similar fields in export. The only difference would be dates, or funds , or types. But if we use summary giving with whatever criteria and want columns for 2012, 2011, 2010... we have to make all these fields from scratch. This is time consuming and sometimes difficult to make sure that the only difference is the date (all same type, all same campaigns, all same etc included or excluded.)
I agree! This happens a lot in summary data, same in queries.
Would be so great to specify everything i want for total of say, Special Appeal this FY and then be able to just copy it over 5 times to show last 5 yrs - without retyping all the same criteria except for dates. or whatever filter.
The ability to copy & modify would be fabulous!
This would be wonderful!! I'm getting ready to export 20+ years of giving and I'm having to recreate the fields for every single year. This would save me hours!!!
