I think that you should look at the way we import the new consents into Raisers Edge as this has to be done by Rows and not columns, so if you have more than one consent to add (8 in total) then you have to do an awful lot of work on the spread sheet as you have to ensure that the import ID is on every row against the correct constituent (potential for error) and all the other consent fields need to be in the correct rows as well.
