Our gift officers are using texting more and more to communicate with their prospects. It would be great if Text was added as an Action Category instead of entering it as a Phone Call as we currently do.
We currently capture these using Phone Call.

I agree with Jeff
I think it would actually be more useful to make Action Category a user defined field. A new communication technology will no doubt surface in the coming years. Making this field user defined would future-proof the solution.
Great idea! It would be good to have this option to make actions reflect reality.
