Could you enable setting batch processing date to the future, ie. batch is created for gifts (could be one-off or RG) but no EFT file is sent to the gateway for credit card processing, but instead a date is set when the EFT creation is triggered? This is basic functionality banks have (set processing day till tomorrow/next week/next month or so) and BBPS should have as well as the bank layer is removed.

This would make transaction processing a lot easier especially during holiday season. As a additional safety feature you could only future date one single batch at any given time.
