Agreed! It makes much more sense for Blackbuad to increase the Org Name field than for the user to have to create alternate aliases to pull the Org's full name when running reports, mailings, or recognition files.

Ditto - alias is difficult to get into contact addresses, etc.

Suggestion regarding the length of the organization name field. Unfortunately, this is a field that is hard coded in the Raisers Edge and is not something that can be changed. I personally need a minimum of 100 characters for full entry of some constituent names

Agreed - once you add a unit, division department to an organization name, it often exceeds 60 characters. Either this field should be expanded to accommodate at least 100 characters, or another field should be created for "Department" or "Division."
