max character limit
Increase character limits on a field to supported max value specified in the database table data field size AND/OR allow for manually overriding the max character limit (up to data field size specified in database table field(s)) imposed in RE. Two examples include the 60 character limit imposed on Org Names and School Names from within RE but yet 100 characters allowed on these fields in the database.

While the "Org Name" field visually stretches across the ENTIRE width of my computer screen, I can only fill the field one quarter of its length with values because of the silly character limit. Come on, Blackbaud. You're an award winning-software development company and we can't even get a character limit increase here? This is such low hanging fruit, I can't believe you've not fixed it! It's poor donor stewardship and data management to have to constantly abbreviate and un-abbreviate organization names every time we extract and use data because of this limitation. Please do us a solid and change this!
