Right now, the choices for "End the Current Parent Code" are "End of academic year" or "End of fiscal year." Since we run our EMS enrollment changes just after the academic/fiscal year rolls over (July 1), parents constituency codes for people who departed are stuck for almost an entire year. If someone (or their child) departs, we want their constituency code to be marked as such right away in RE -- otherwise our email lists are unusable.
