add more payment methods
I would like a payment method for wire transfers.

Payment menthods for GooglePay, ApplePay and direct debit are also necessary, especially with the addition of the Modal Checkout in Luminate Online.
We need ACH and Money order.
Please implement this soon! The payment methods available are so limited and outdated. We need to be able to select these ourselves.
I'd like to see Wire Transfer, Payroll Deduction, and Cash Transfer added along with money order.

With the access of internet banking facility, Gif tab should have additional option for selection under pay method i.e. "Wire Transfer" "Inter Bank transfer" "Money order".
If would be nice for user to have option to add pay methods. Useful to us would be online, direct deposit, payroll deduction.
I am not sure that they will ever make it a user defined field. It is too highly linked to things such as the GL module. I do wish they added more and you could have the option to turn off certain ones you do not plan to use.
Add money order to the list of options
If we can't add our own payment methods, sub-methods would be nice. We have ended up using gift sub-type to collect this data and it is messy. "Other" could have an edit-able sub-methods table. That would be super handy.
There far more payment options than 30 years ago!
Payroll Deduction would be a very nice one to add.\
BACS and online really would be useful. Most of our money comes in that way nowadays!
Online is not a payment method. If they pay online they are either using a credit card or a checking account through EFT. What is BACS?
We deal a lot with physicians from around the globe. In many instances, their institutions will not let them pay for things like meeting registrations online via credit card and they request to pay via wire transfer. This is happening more and more and I feel like there is no appropriate way to record the gift.
I agree with the above suggestion of more payment methods. I deal with alot of donations via Virgin Money Giving which need to be recording accurately as those donations do not qualify for gift aid.
