My org segments groups quite a bit outside of RE and imports the appeal codes into records after segmentation. After talking with RE, we've found that the imported constituent appeals don't affect the appeal record's "Solicit No." I have to enter that number manually. This means that if I get a return to sender next week and we find we have no way to get a hold of the donor, I have to delete the appeal code from the constituent record and then manually adjust the solicit number in the appeal record to keep accurate reporting.
