If a gift is inadvertently deleted, there is no easy way to get it back. I was intending to remove the soft credit on a gift and I inadvertently deleted the gift. Doing a full database restore seems like overkill just to retrieve this one transaction. Please add an "undo" feature or something similar so we can easily retrieve this data.
