In batch entry it would be useful to be able to apply soft credit to multiple constituent records at one time, instead of having to click through multiple dialogues to apply the same soft credit for each record. For example, during large fundraising events, when there are dozens of constituents listed in  a batch who have donated different amounts but the fund/campaign/appeal ID's and solicitor are all the same for the batch, it would be much simpler to apply the soft credit to all records at once rather than having to select the same soft credit designation for each individual. This could be done in a manner similar to the solicitor credit, where the soft credit is listed as a field in the table during entry, or perhaps as a mass application just prior to validating/committing the batch. This would also be a good opportunity to include a marker or some easier to access symbol which shows which records have already received a soft credit designation, as the process to view this is similar to the process used to apply the soft credit in the first place and is time consuming to double check when dealing with large batches.
