Automatically update proposal status when linking a gift
It would cut out an extra step if linking a pledge to a proposal would automatically change the proposal status to accepted and fill in the amount funded section.

Agreed! This is especially true if the gift is being batched using a donor-advised fund or foundation, but the proposal is under the individual's record, making it more difficult to get in to their record and update.
