Currently ONLY gifts linked to proposals VIA the proposal itself impact/updates the "amount funded: field.  If you link a gift to a proposal via the gift or via a gift batch, it will not be reflected in the "amount funded" field though the "amount funded from gifts:" text will...if that text updates automatically why can't the actual field update (which we need for queries!)
