Make Proposals a record like gifts that can be exported and queried on individually.
Sometimes you need to export just specific proposals or run reports on specific proposals. Currently, when you export proposals, you have to export all proposals related to a constituent.

Would absolutely be helpful. Also to create query and export types for proposals, and be able to query on the proposal's System Record ID.
I have assigned canvassers on hundreds of proposals that it is impossible to get rid of globally, even with Import/Export and Import IDs, you can add new canvassers, but can't delete, overwrite. Proposals need to be a record type
I just posted a new request for this. There are many ideas out there with the content, just not merged into this one. Maybe if Blackbaud could merge all the requests together they would find there in a HUGE need for it.
When we are looking at an export of prospects in Excel, we have several columns that we need to see (that we CANNOT get in web-view), including things like: Total to XYZ Funds Last Year, total to XYZ Funds This Year, Total to JKL Appeal Last Year, Total to JKL Appeal This Year, Prospect Status, Last Action with ABC Action Type, and (here it is...) Proposals with an XYX Proposal Status/ XYZ Ask Amount/ XYZ Solicitor/ XYZ Any Other Field On That Proposal "Record".
Game changer for sure. This would be great for external reporting as well.
Yes! Please, please, PLEASE!!! Please also consider developing the ability to do global adds/changes/deletes on these, imports of new ones, import IDs so you can change existing ones, etc.
Changing the status of this idea to Voting Open because it's been reviewed. While not currently planned, this will remain open for voting and future consideration as a change.

Amazed RE doesn't have this ability still. Very much needed and a huge time saver out there for Fundraisers who track their proposals and need to report on them regularly.

I've just realised that Pivot Reports contain duplicates as the ''proposal query' contains duplicates...Has anyone heard anything on this?

Blackbaud, can you provide us with a status update on this idea/request/need please? Many are desperate for this functionality.
Such a blindspot! All BB has to do is add the "active/inactive" flag to export. Query already has it. Not that hard
I have people wanting proposal information ALL THE TIME! It is frustrating when yet again, I have to say, that is not available yet!!!
Actually you can filter on proposal purpose. Which is ridiculous. Please allow us to filter on other fields like inactive, expected date, status, etc.
I also want an auto-generated Proposal ID (like Constituents and Gifts have). Helps when the boss changes the name of a proposal and I can't find it anymore.
Also would like Cpgn/Fund/Appeal fields to operate on both ID and Desc as they do in Gifts, etc.
It is necessary for our prospect reporting to be able to export proposals based on status or campaign. Purpose is not a good field to filter on, and that does not work for us.
I am working with multi-year proposals and I need to get the amount funded per FY. This is not reflected in the record but in an export I would like to be able to see all of the linked gifts so that I can add up the ones that fall into each fiscal year.
