Currently, if I want to get a comprehensive list of new donors and all their gifts for a particular year, I first have to run a query to include total gifts. Second, I would create the new donor report. Finally, I wouldn't actually use that report, as it only shows one gift, but I would create a new export file using the constituent query created by the report. In that export I would have to choose more than one gift on the output tab.
It would be great to be able to just include multiple gifts in the report itself, not have to go to export.
