Users don't realize their query result is incorrect when they select 'not one of' operator versus 'one of'. For example: Gift Type 'not one of' Pledge, Recurring Gift, Write off returns zero records. But if you select Gift Type 'one of' cash, recurring cash, pay-cash, your query yields records. This is believed to be a known issue at BB (told by Support), then 'not one of' operator should not be offered as an option to filter by.
There are situations/fields for which the "not one of" field functions as desired. Don't want to see it dropped.
I wouldn't want to see it go away completely either, but having them return the same set of results sure would be nice!!!
"Gift Type 'not one of' Pledge, Recurring Gift, Write off" works fine for me. Returns exactly what I expect to get. Even if it were a "known issue" then it needs a bug fix, not to be eliminated as a feature that is used by many of us.
