Query using wild cards in the One Of table

When querying for numerous five digit zip codes in an area, it would be great to use the One Of operator in the Query function employing a wild card character. Currently this is done by creating separate Equal To statements for each five digit zip code using the five digit zip code plus wild card character.

see also https://re7.ideas.aha.io/ideas/RE7-I-375 which requests this without the need for wildcards at all

I agree with Scott Mitchell. I have 1158 zip codes in the NJ and NY area that I need to include in my query. It would be impossible to use that many Equal To statements. I will have to take a backward step and delete all of the -???? digits from zip codes that include them. I see that Scott sent in his suggestion on October 22, 2012. When can we expect some action to correct this flaw? Sheila Maleson

I SECOND THIS. It should be possible to use a wildcard in a query so that I can look for "one of" a series of zipcodes and then put a wildcard at the end to check for ones with the extra 4 digits. Please. Make this happen.

Totally agree with this. I just had to individually add 300 zip codes to my criteria using "Begins with" the five digit codes to make sure I captured all the +4s!

Please fix this! We are sending invitations to events in multiple different cities to all zip codes (including ones with +4) within 30-50 mile radius. Some cities have more than 300 zip codes - so time consuming to do the "Begins with" function for all of them! The good news is we only have to do these queries once and they are good forever (unless my boss changes the criteria), in theory. But still, would be easier and nicer to have a better, faster option!
