Associate letter codes with appeals and allow auto-populate of info in Batch
if letter codes were associated with appeals, data entry staff would save time in Batch when entering gifts if the letter code auto-populates based on the letter code that is associated with the appeal. I suggest adding a field = letter code in the Appeals table.

This is one feature that I really miss from Donor2.
Would be helpful if we also had the choice to auto populate based on appeal package.
I agree with this. But only as an add on or option. Sometimes the appeal will come in where the donor has designated another fund/event not related to the appeal making the thank you letter entirely different.
If you add the Letter Code field to your available batch fields, then you can apply a default letter for all of the records in the batch. Hide it if all will get the same letter. Leave it as a default if just a few need a different letter
