Specify which attribute to export if multiple attribute of the same category

Currently if exporting only 1 attribute RE shall export the 1st one as it is displayed on the record however it would be good to be able to specify which attribute you want using a date range or even just last attribute.

    We have in place (for more than 7 years) a system of Attributes to code Proposals sent to grantors. This Attributes drives a Crystal Report to summarize Grant Proposal Activity. Some grantors have more than 12 proposals submitted to them over the years and I have to export ALL the Attributes, including the ones from 7 years ago even tho' they have no place on the report any more. I want to be able to filter or specify WHICH attribute(s) to export for the Crystal Report - to do it by a Date Range would be ideal.
