Exporting only one note or action in descending date order should yield most current note or action

It would be helpful if, when exporting notes (or actions, or other items with dates), if you choose to export only one note but choose to export in descending date order (regardless of note type), the most recent note or action is the one included in the export.

I completely agree! As it stands, the note or action that gets exported is essentially random - which makes the export useless for such items.

You could at least do "Last Action" in your export, and then set further parameters based on action type, category, completion, etc. We used it at a previous job and it was extremely helpful. Available in Constituent export only, I believe.

I think it is really poor programming that results in users getting wrong data out of RE. Whilst you can use the Last Action and apply filters, I would have thought that if you are giving the option to select the most recent action in the Actions node then this should be what you get. If it doesn't work or not intended to be used this way then do not allow users to select the combination. Please sort out this bug Blackbaud - it resulted in me giving out wrong information to a manager.
