It is backward moving and illogical to allow excel exports in xls or cvs formats only. It should be xlsx or cvs. Many of the volunteer groups I send information to cannot open xls and cvs distorts columns such as membership number and zip code due to formatting. It is an unacceptable "solution" to have to resave each one as a xlsx once exported when you are doing this for over 50 reports a month. Csvs have their uses and are needed, but for the majority of our exports they are not practical. This needs to be addressed promptly.
