When setting a future action, I must fill in how many days/weeks/months ahead of the date set I wish to be notified. There is no option for being notified on the date of the action. In other words, if I just want to be notified on the date, not one day beforehand, I cannot do that. When I enter 0 days, I get an error message. For example, I may set an appointment but the person would like me to call before I come, I don't need notice the day before. I want a reminder that morning. There's also no option to be reminded X hours before the appointment time even though I've entered the start time. My regular calendar (not Outlook) allows for notification on the date of the event, why can't RE do the same?
Are you talking about the reminder that gets set up in outlook or the one that gets set up in RE. the one in RE does not pop up in your face like outlook does so setting it up to go off hours before would be a problem in RE since it just gets added to the task list. I would prefer to always be able to see it the day before in RE so at the end of a day i can see what I need to do tomorrow. But I can see where you may want the outlook reminder to go off a few hours before. Can you go into the outlook reminder itself and change it once you create it in RE?
If so, honestly, I do not want to waste the RE programmers precious time on this kind of thing when there are bigger issues in RE that need fixing.
