Process silent auction purchases and donations through Event Management App

Registrations can be processed through the events app and seamlessly integrate with RE. Why can't donations or silent auction purchases be processed in the same way? We would like to see all donations/purchases in a batch and linked to a constituent.

    How is this not a part of the app.  Such a huge part of a Fundraising Event.
