Use the RE Event App for Auctions

It would be great to be able to scan a credit card at the beginning of an event such as an auction and link it to a bidder. Then, at the end of the night, we can charge the card without bothering the winner for a cumbersome checkout process.

    I like this idea, but would also like to be able to charge the credit card at a later date.  We currently require credit cards be scanned from each person who checks in and then I will run them by the following Wednesday (if our event is on Saturday) so that I have time to reconcile all charges before actually running the credit cards.
