The duplicate management area in NXT under data health would be lovely to replicate in a database query so that I can manage, review, and export in database view. Alternately, the ability to export the report from NXT into an excel document so that I can track progress, research notes, etc on the potential duplicates would be helpful. That exported file could then also be used to create the desired constituent query in RE by pasting the returned constituent IDs into database query.
We work with multiple databases on our college campus, and duplicates are reported to our IT department to be done in an alternate database. Once they complete the merge it interfaces back into RE and merges the records. I am currently unable to easily report to them the list of items to merge as shown in the NXT finder except by re-creating the list by hand as I go, and then sending it to our IT in an excel file.
When I asked BB if I could export and retrieve the list of duplicates from NXT they recommended running a database query that exports individuals by name and then hand sort and identify the duplicates. With 150,000+ records in our system and only 300 suspected duplicates, I'd call that pretty inefficient data handling. Since the duplicate finder refreshes constantly in NXT, I just don't see why it can't allow the ability to be recreated or exported.
