Microsoft have changed their stance on the default Office version recommended to users. If you download Office from Microsoft Office 365, Office 64bit is provided by default. There are also numerous blog articles by Microsoft personnel detailing this change. Blackbaud previously explained that the reason Office 64bit was not supported with RE7 was because Microsoft used to recommended 32bit by default. Now that this has changed, and customers are starting to use Office 64bit it would be very helpful if RE7 and NXT could be updated to support it.
