Allow Head of Household Processing in Mail

When there are two records for spouses, we would like to soft credit them to make it easier for our VP and Ex. Directors to see the family's total giving picture. But we would only like to send one receipt/thank you letter to the family. If the head of household processing was a choice in Mail, it make this much easier and allow for little human error.

    I like the idea of hoh processing in mail but this example is poor, In acknowledgements you simply would not acknowledge a SC recipient only ackn the donor.

    However, I can see other places in Mail where this would be helpful.

    Some organizations send a letter to the soft credit recipient as well. While they don't get tax credit, an opportunity to thank is still valuable, especially if they were the person that initiated the gift. Sometimes it is the spouse and this would take care of the redundancy.
