I run monthly sustaining member gift batches and there are always individuals who have credit cards that do not go through for one reason or another. I can create a batch of exceptions so I have a printed list to go by to see whose card did not work. To contact them in mass, I currently have to manually create a query from this exception batch so I can call, mail or email them that their card did not work.  I would like to see RE create an option to create an exception query when I run the credit card batch so I could easily add this to an export and use that to contact all those with bad credit cards.
