Currently, when we make an amendments to a Recurring Gift, it automatically changes the start date of the recurring gift to the amendment date.

This becomes a problem as we will then be unable to rollback transactions etc as the start date of the gift is now a later date.

I don't see the need for the start date to be changed to the date of amendment. What if we want to make an amendments to increase the monthly donation to $20, and have it paid 2 more times we can’t do that unless we change the amendment date to 2 months ago which isn’t quite right since we amended it today.
