Add dates and comment sections to Solicit Codes

We often have to add a "do not solicit" code to a donor's record. Then - we have to follow up with a mail house and let them know of any recent "Do not solicits". There is currently no way to do that.

    The consent feature does fulfill this requirement for our organization, and the fact that we can tie consent and solicit together.

    Hey there! I would encourage anyone that was looking for this functionality to look into using the new Consent records that was released in 7.96 Patch 8. It provides you the ability to track granular opt-in and opt-outs with dates and comments in a way that can drive Solicit Code assignments. We will likely not be updating Solicit Codes themselves, but I am hopeful that the Consent record capabilities can accommodate the needs here.

    This would be incredibly helpful in creating a clear ‘paper trail’ as to how and why solicit codes were added.  An action or note would do, however, I think having the data visually next to each other would help with awareness, clear communication and management.
