We run annual giving and lifetime giving reports at the end of each year.  I have them set up to pull an cumulative gift value for either their annual gift and also lifetime giving.  I currently use a Donor Category Report and prepopulate a table that includes the gift parameters.  In addition to the constituents name and total gift value, we also need their recognition preference from the Addressee/Salutation tab in RE.

This is a small change, and seems that you should be able to include it.
