The only way to pull out the gift amount prior to it being adjusted it to run the Adjusted Gift Report. However, users would like to be able to put this amount in Query or Export to pull over to an Excel spreadsheet. The formats available in the report to Export are not easily readable.
We are unable to reconcile the adjustments made in RE and then posted after the process to FE. Currently we have to run the adjustment report, review and manually run a calculator tape of the total amount on original gift and adjusted gift. Then compare to what was posted to FE. It would be much easier if I can run a query, only field that I need is the "previous amount" or original amount. Then when I export the spreadsheet would be able to summarize. And we could do it by fund ID or Constituent ID. Would allow a lot more flexibility.

I just chatted with an analyst because I couldn't find this field in query or export. It would be so helpful to have (for reconciling as someone else commented)! Expecially since you can pull pretty much everything else from an adjustment!
The only suggestion support offered was to export from the query, but since query creates duplicate lines for gifts with split funds, it makes more work to remove duplicates.
