Ability to set a default total no. of members and no. of children for membership cards on a membership categories basis

Each of our membership categories allows a specific number of adults and children to access our attractions, per membership card.  Having this reflected in Raisers Edge, and being able to be set by default as opposed to manually, will greatly help with our processes and the integration with our ticketing system for scanning membership cards for entry.

    It is possible to have a default total.no of members, if you want this to be the maximum number members you have set for that category.

    You select the following option: Config > Business Rules > Membership options > General Options and select "Default maximum number of members"

    This will however leave the number of children field blank.

    Our family Membership allows two adults and two children, so we have the maximum number of members set to 4. We are happy for this to be recorded on Membership records as total no. of Members as 4, but this may not work for all organisations.
