Will there be an Event Management App available for Android tablets? iPads are expensive so this would be an alternative for organizations on tighter budgets to use this app.
It is very disappointing that it has been so many years since the iOS app was released and there is still no sign of the android equivalent. The regular RE app is available on both platforms, why not the RE Event App too?
Our IT Director won't let us use the app because he will not allow us to use Apple products. He is willing to let us use Android but would prefer the Microsoft surfaces. He hates Apple security see article link below.
Just another article that my IT director sent me as a reminder that we will never us apple products so I will not be able to use any of the RE apps unless they release them on the Surfaces.
PLEASE make the Events module and other RE apps available for Android based systems. The cost of Apple products makes it hard for organizations to afford them, or enough of them to use the app feasibly. Android products are much more cost efficient for our organization. After paying the price for the RE products and modules, the budget is already stretched thin, so it would be nice to be able to use all of the features of these modules on something other than Apple devices.
Our IT department doesn't support Apple products and after 15 years of using Raiser's Edge, it is disappointing that this won't work for our Android tablets and phones. We fought for years to get the technology we needed to streamline event registration and now that we finally have the products, they aren't compatible. It seems like the majority of apps are available to both so we were shocked to find out this wasn't. We are really hoping that it can be released for Android devices soon. I hate paying as much as we do for Raiser's Edge products and modules only to not be able to use them.

Agree to the existing posts, Android or windows based apps would be good. trying to steer away from apple products.

Sad that after nearly 18 months there is no compatibility for this app with android OS.
