Allow view of all participants, not just registered participants in the event management ipad app

It would be helpful to see unregistered & registered participants when using the ipad event management app. If someone doesn't register but shows up to the event, you can't locate them in the participant list and check them in. Adding them as a new participant creates a duplicate record.

    Rebekah, David, and Nicole - what did you end up doing for your events? Did you use the app? How did you handle check in of guests you didn't have names for?

    This might help with another problem we have run in to, you can see people, but not necessarily organizations. We often have an org buy tickets but provide no names. Or last minute substitutions.

    Agreed. I can see that it sorts search results into those who've been registered and then those who've not been registered. It would be very handy if it had a middle category, those who've been invited but not registered. It would also be handy if we could see who'd been invited.

    I must say that I am disappointed. My hope was that we would be able to use this app, eliminate extra paper and confusion at registration times. We had a huge problem with this at our largest event last year. I was hoping for better solutions. This is so limiting that I am not sure I should take the time to teach volunteers to use it. It seems that it was developed without any research on industry standards or best practices for Event Management in mind.
