Adding this fiscal year/this calendar year, etc. to all date criteria query/report options.
Somehow this fiscal year/ last fiscal year, this calendar year/last calendar year are not always options in RE in query/reports. Can we make this consistent?

Changing the status of this idea to Voting Open because it's been reviewed. While not currently planned, this will remain open for voting and future consideration as a change.
Please note, this idea represents only the request to make Last/This/Next Fiscal Year and Calendar year available across queries and reports. Any other changes to date criteria should be added as separate ideas.
Also note that each field would need to be coded and tested separately, so the changes would likely come for different queries and reports over time.
I'd also like to have last 30 days as an option. (Or last XXX days - choose specific value)

I agree, this is a common need since so many organizations--think schools, a good portion of BB's clients--aren't on calendar fiscal years.
Having the fiscal year option in queries on gift dates (as is allowed in reports) really would help.
I just dont understand how a good idea in one spot isnt added across the board.
Isn't consistency the #1 aspect of a good database?
Should be for developers as well as users :)

Agree. In query this happens and yearly I have to change all sorts of queries in order for my dashboard to pull correctly.
After having spent 4 solid days of creating queries and fiddling with Excel sheets to adjust for fiscal years I sure wish this was possible. Could have had the reports finished in half the time.
Please add "this fiscal year" to dates queries--it's already an option in Export.
I also need several years of fiscal year history in my reports. I don't just go to last year, but 3-5 years prior. I do this consistently in my reports (as do many organizations).
I need to do a LYBUNT report on fiscal year. The export module can manage this, but I cannot select my constituents properly because queries don't support fiscal years. Can you please add Fiscal year filters to the queries?
I put a recommendation years ago to have FY as a criteria. I don't understand why it has not yet been added when it would make such a huge difference to setting up queries and reports that do not have to be constantly maintained. Also, it already exists in some areas of RE so why cannot it be available everywhere?
its funny that this request was brought up several years ago and we have yet to see anything. This lack of flexibility makes us work several hours extra just to adjust to the calendar year.
Adding FY to the queries would be ideal for my purposes. The analysis that I need to do would be enhanced significantly with the addition of this filter.
This would really help our organization.
This is critical for our support as a customer of Blackbaud. Please prioritize providing FY query and reporting as soon as possible.

We should be able to set "Gift Date" to equal "This Fiscal Year" - it's nuts that I have to create a new query every year! Calendar year is almost completely useless for us!
It would be beneficial, and eliminate repetitive work at year end.
