NetCommunity Recurring Gift Glitch

I have a donor that made a new recurring gift on the 5th of the month to also draw on the same date. I downloaded the gift in NetCommunity, but the only gift for this donor was the recurring gift - I later found out that BBMS processed the first installment on the 5th. I believe this information should have populated in BBNC. I now need to manually enter the gift and explain to the donor that her receipt is a month late!

    I want to make sure I understand the problem fully that you are describing here.

    My understanding is that you had a donor add a recurring gift through BBNC on the first payment date. The recurring gift itself downloaded as expected into RE, but the first recurring gift payment itself did not download as expected (even though the payment was appropriately processed in BBMS). Do I have this correct? If so, did you contact support about this issue?

    My current understanding is that in this event both the recurring gift and the first recurring gift payment should be downloaded. However, if the recurring gift is added by the donor even 1 day removed from the first payment date, only the recurring gift would be downloaded to RE. In this case, however, there would be no charge in BBMS until you created the recurring gift batch and processed the payment through RE. 

    There should never be a scenario where a charge is issued from BBNC through BBMS and the corresponding gift record is not created in RE.
