There should be an easier and more efficient way to clean tables. In order to delete non functional table codes, a query is required so that we know whose records to delete the code from. However, after it has been deleted from ALL those records and, we try to delete the code, we get a message informing us that it still exists in some records. This is extremely frustrating.
Apparently it's still in RE somewhere :) I agree it would be nice somehow if one could query for 'any field containing XXXX' instead of trying to figure out all the records, relationships, etc where the invalid info is stored.
Definitely! I've got a real problem trying to delete useless old Region entries at the moment. I absolutely cannot find any examples of the old ones, query however I might, but oh no, they're apparently still in use somewhere.
I agree!
