Opening a constituent record from the search window causes the search window to automatically close. If you want to view additional records from those results, you now have to re-open the search window and re-enter the search criteria all over again. We need the option to keep the search window open until it is manually closed. This would allow us to quickly review multiple records with a single search.
Jen's comment is indeed a workaround, but still involves multiple steps. It also (I haven't tested this...) seems like you would lose focus on which record in the set you had last checked/referenced. I think the more efficient thing would be to add an option (checkbox) at the bottom of the Search Window for "Do Not Close on Record Open". Another, even simpler option might be just a "Pin" icon/button somewhere on the dialog to toggle the mode on/off.
Open the Search Window and click [Previous Search] or use Alt+P and RE will re-run the last search.
You can also customize the Fields that appear in the Search Results Window...just edit the Output Fields in the Query at the top where it says, "Search Using Query:".
Good idea! We have a lot of constituents who have the same name and address because they are parent and child or when looking for a constituent before we add someone to prevent a dup record we come up with several variations of the same name and have to check them all for address, phone, email etc similarities.
