Your users need to be able to pull a query and include "primary email" or "primary phone" in the output results. As it stands you can only identify if the email field you selected in the output is the primary (Yes or No) or you can use the "primary email" in the criteria tab, but then you will omit any constituents who do not have an email address or do not have an email address listed as primary.
The work arounds suggested by support will omit valuable constituent results OR create an unnecessary waste of resources in cleaning up data before use. Neither is a good option.
This was addressed in an idea left in 2015, that currently has 13 votes and 7 comments, but has obviously not been addressed, so I felt an updated idea was necessary.
