I need to include in the pledge status report not only outstanding pledges and their activity in the timeframe specified - but also pledges with a balance of $0 if there was a payment or write off in the timeframe specified.

I currently can use query to give me outstanding pledges and pledges with payments in a period but I can't get pledges written off into the query.

Yes, there is an awful workaround using an output query from the written-off report, merged with the query I have then put into the pledge status report but that is not dynamic and requires too many steps to be recreated by the average user. (meaning it is left to me).

Why can't the pledge status report include all pledges that are open and/or have "activity" in the month. Or minimally, add to the gift query the ability to get pledges that have been written off in a particular timeframe. Either would work for me.
