add appeal to actions

At the moment you can't see what Appeal/Event an Action was created for. Nearly every Action created is regarding an Appeal/Event. As Appeal Description or ID isn't shown on the Action it means that people are constantly having to trawl through Actions till they find the one they are looking for. Currently the only way is to manually type the Appeal Description in the Actions Notes but there are often data entry errors. This makes querying on Actions unreliable.

    If Appeal could be added to an Action it would work so much better in results analysis and accurate coding of the income coming in against fundraising actions created.  We were trying to assign an Appeal to each record that we added a fundraising Action to but this is not ideal and doesn't really work for reporting on number of Actions against fundraising initiatives. As a new work-around I have exported all our active appeal codes and then had to import them as campaigns in order that we can select them inside each Action.  I will then add any new Appeal codes to both the Appeal and Campaign records section going forward.  Melissa Sutherland
