When setting up an event in Online Express with multiple price types you should be able to specify attributes for certain price types. For example our foundation is hosting an event where we have three price types; a main ticket for a table of 8, then two add-on items they can purchase if they wish. I have an attribute where I want them to list the additional attendees who will be sitting at their table, but I only want this attribute to show up under the main ticket price type, not if they select the additional add on items.
As you can see from the attached picture, I don't need the attribute "List team members" under the "mulligan" and "double points", but right now it's not an option to only have attributes under one price type.
In relation to this you should be able to select "Add-on" price types so registrants don't have to fill out the same information. It makes your signup webpage look very cluttered.
Default sets. We use event-o-matic for this because every new participant it asks what default set to use but you can manually add the default sets in regular RE:Events.
