In the past when the Primary on the account was not the solicitor we would manually clean up the event reports. I was hoping that someone could help me find a way to mark the spouse on the account as the solicitor...so that we could skip manual clean up.
I understand that we could switch the spouse with the primary to correct this however in some instances we do not want to do so because the primary is a board member or the main contact for our organization. Our database administrator does not want us splitting out spouse records either to avoid issues with posting and soft credit.
I feel that if a check box could be added to the spouse profile page (identical to the one on the Primary profile page) that it would help to eliminate manual clean up. If both primary and spouse happen to be solicitors then both would show up in your search when adding the solicitor to the event profile. Thank you for your consideration.
To import solicitor assignments requires the solicitor to have an ID - in other words their own record. I don't see that having both spouses having their own record when both solicitor causes that many issues. Can't think of any 'posting' issues.
