Scheduled queue's need to run on the hosted environment. The queue module isn't worth the cost without this function. Further, the fact that the scheduled queue's don't work is not shared with customers prior to purchase.
Queue does work in hosted environment. Only Mail and Reports can send email out, but there are multiple email settings that need to be configured (Business Rules>Mail Option, Tools>Mail Configuration, Tools>Microsoft Outlook).
I believe this is incorrect. They can run successfully on a hosted environment. What the Queue cannot do is be automatically email the reports out after they have successfully been processed, as the email program part of it causes some security issues.

We would do so much more with Queue if it actually worked!
