When planning ahead for an event or campaign, it is very frustrating to have to create a fake gift in order to create the acknowledgement letters. Also, when you find that a gift that should be acknowledged has been left out of the merge, you cannot enter the merge to check the parameters to see why the gift has been excluded. It would be fantastic if you did not need a gift to work in Mail.

Also, if a gift is excluded from a mail merge, do not mark the gift "acknowledged".
