The United Hospital Fund has been a Raiser’s Edge client for 24 years.  During this time I have been administrator of the software.  Prior versions allowed us to set our own criteria for the duplicate search- this is no longer available.  When I called for technical support about setting up the criteria for duplicate search while importing new constituent records, I was told that this feature was no longer available and was assured that the duplicate criteria the program uses was very reliable. Recently we used the import feature to import 129 records: the system identified 74 exceptions (duplicates) and imported 55 records.  However, 11 of the 55 records imported were identified as duplicates by one of my colleagues due to different addresses.   This is unacceptable and I think many other clients would agree.  As a result, we cannot trust this tool and going forward we will have to manually enter groups of records.  Management is very dissatisfied so I hope you can find a resolution to this issue especially because we are a loyal client for many years.
